A Product of Life-Long Love
Hello Friends,
Back on December 7, a special day for many reasons (including Pearl Harbor Day), I sent the announcement that the children's book created by my mom Nancy Sanborn and I was coming.
The publisher actually forgot to tell me that it went LIVE on December 7!
He did announce it yesterday, with this glowing post:
"I am pleased to announce the release of a delightful children’s book rooted in Christy Sanborn Grassman’s family history from the World War II era. Preserved through the years in her family’s archives, this story is a true treasure, now shared with a new generation through Urban Press. Congratulations, Christy, on a job well done, and thanks to your family for allowing us to steward this special piece of your legacy. This is Christy’s second book project with Urban Press."
He went on to suggest that he could imagine the book as an animated series. Maybe! Sounds like something to think about later.
